Redmi Note 3 - Only 16GB model will be available for 3rd flash sale

It is official news. Redmi India on their facebook official page as a reply to a comment, announced that - “they are going to sell only 16GB model on 23^rd March”. This will be a big disappointment for most of the customers.

Redmi Note 3 was released on 9^th March with it's first flash sale in India. The flash sale is on every Wednesday. Though they have announced the phone in 3 color variants(Dark Grey, Champagne Gold, and Silver), only the Gold color model(32GB) was available in last two flash sales.  But 16GB model was available in all 3 colors.

Now only the 16GB model is available to register, on mi website - for next flash sale. 

This phone comes with hybrid sim tray. That means you can use one micro SIM  and one nano SIM [OR] you can use one micro SIM  and a memory card.  You can not use two SIM cards and a memory card. That’s the reason most of the people are interested to buy 32GB model. Within the seconds after flash sale begins., 32GB model was out of stock on amazon. 

As of now Redmi Note 3 is the best budget smartphone under 10K.

CREO MARK 1 - New Smartphone with monthly updates

CREO is Indian smartphone brand debuting into Indian Smartphone market. It is Bangalore based startup company. It is launching a smartphone with the name “CREO MARK 1”. 

While every smartphone brand promoting their new smartphones with the hardware specs, CREO is promoting itself saying that – they will give better Android experience with features that aren’t available on any other Android device to the users by giving monthly software updates. 

Mark 1 is it’s first flagship smartphone, based on Android. The company says that its updates will help keep your phone running like new. That’s a new approach when compared to other smartphone makers.

CREO Co-Founder and  CEO - Sai Srinivas says that:

 “Regular and relevant software updates ensure that the customer experience is always smooth. At CREO, we promise to release these updates every month, along with powerful and functional features, that give you an experience of A New Phone Every Month!”

The company hasn’t announced a launch date yet, but you can sign up on its site to be notified. The specifications are not yet revealed, we  have to wait and see what sort of features the Mark 1 brings.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is the best phone in the 10K to 12K range. It comes with the new Snapdragon 650 Processor, this is the first phone to have this processor.

It is a very beautiful looking phablet. It has very smooth finish metal body and so it feels slippery while handling. You must use a good back cover to protect it from accidental falling.
 
It has hybrid SIM tray.
That means you can use one micro SIM  and one nano SIM [OR] you can use one micro SIM  and a memory card.  Both SIM slots support 4G.

In the 16GB model you will get usable memory 9.31GB and in 32GB model you will get usable memory 25GB. If you use two SIM cards and you are a heavy user who needs more space on the device, then it is highly recommended to go for the 32GB version.
 
There is no information about which type of screen(Gorilla,Saphine or Dragontrail)  they have used for this mobile. So it is better to use a tempered glass. 

It has infrared sensor – with this you can use your phone as  a universal remote for devices in your home.
 
Since it comes with a huge 4050mAh battery. It will easily lasts 1 or 2 days depending on your usage.
 
Finger print scanner working very good. Its fast and accurate.
 
Having all these qualities at a budget price, I can say that this is the best phone to buy as of now.

Android N Beta version released

Most of the Android devices are not yet upgraded to Marshmallow 6.0(Android M), still running on Lollipop 5.1. But Google released the next version Android N for developers. This is a Beta version. It is released earlier than expected. Google decided to release the Beta version earlier.,  to get more feedback from developers.

The main changes in this version are:

1. Google introduced multitasking feature with Split Screen view. With this feature users can open two apps on the screen at a time and run them side-by-side or one-above-the-other in split screen mode.

2. Ability to Directly Reply to notifications
 
3. Google is going to put major focus on Battery life improvement and pefromance.

 

The update is ready for the following devices now. Google’s Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player, Nexus 9 and Pixel C devices. These devices can update to the developer preview of N via an OTA by visiting the Android Beta Program site and enrolling themselves.

The name of Android N is not yet decided. Most of the people thinking that, its name could be Nutella (Nutella is a hazelnut-chocolate spread similar to peanut butter but with a sweeter flavor).

Indian Smartphone maker Lava, launched another model in Fuel series – Fuel F2. This smartphone is exclusively availabe on eBay. Its price is Rs. 4,444, it will be available in black and white colors.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Launched in India

Xiaomi today launched Redmi Note 3 in India. The launch event was held in New Delhi. Redmi Note 3 will be available in two variants. One with 2GB RAM and 16GB Internal Storage and other with 3GB RAM and 32GB Internal Storage.  All other specifications are same for bothe the variants.

Price of the 2GB model is Rs. 9,999 and price of 3GB model is Rs. 11,999. It will be available in Dark Grey, Champagne Gold, and Silver colours, and it is the third product of Xiaomi in'Make in India' campaign. The first flash sale will start on 9th March 2PM on Amazon. Later it will be available on other online partners like flipkart, snapdeal and retail stores.

Redmi Note 3 was released in China in November 2015 with Mediatek processor. But Indian version of Note 3 is released with Snapdragon 650 processor.

Chinese smartphone maker VIVO launched Xplay5 Elite and Xplay5 in China. Xplay5 Elite is world's first smartphone with 6GB RAM.

mPhone directors arrested for fraud

Just hours before the launch event of new brand mPhone, Kochi police arrested mPhone directors Anto Augustine and Josekutty Augustine on charge of financial fraud. Police arrested them claiming that Bank of Baroda had lodged a complaint against mPhone promoters. Police states that Augustine brothers cheated other banks too.

Rojy Augustine chairman of mPhone and the third Augustine brother feels that - it is suspicious that his brothers got arrested on launch day. Rojy Augustine alleged a conspiracy behind the arrests.

According to mPhone, it had invested 3500 crores and the firm has research and development center in Korea. They have given full page advertisements for mPhone launch in Kerala news papers. But none including the tech bloggers from Kerala have seen the phone.
