Most of the Android devices are not yet
upgraded to Marshmallow 6.0(Android M), still running on Lollipop 5.1. But
Google released the next version Android N for developers. This is a
Beta version. It is released earlier than expected. Google decided to
release the Beta version earlier., to get more feedback from
developers.
The main changes in this version are:

The update is ready for the following devices now. Google’s Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player, Nexus 9 and Pixel C devices. These devices can update to the developer preview of N via an OTA by visiting the Android Beta Program site and enrolling themselves.
The name of Android N is not yet decided. Most of the people thinking that, its name could be Nutella (Nutella is a hazelnut-chocolate spread similar to peanut butter but with a sweeter flavor).
