Just hours before the launch event of new brand mPhone, Kochi police arrested mPhone directors Anto Augustine and Josekutty Augustine on charge of financial fraud. Police arrested them claiming that Bank of Baroda had lodged a complaint against mPhone promoters. Police states that Augustine brothers cheated other banks too.
Rojy Augustine chairman of mPhone and the third Augustine brother feels that - it is suspicious that his brothers got arrested on launch day. Rojy Augustine alleged a conspiracy behind the arrests.
According to mPhone, it had invested 3500 crores and the firm has research and development center in Korea. They have given full page advertisements for mPhone launch in Kerala news papers. But none including the tech bloggers from Kerala have seen the phone.

We have seen so many controversies about freedom251 and now, after freedom251 this mPhone is turned as another scam with the arrest of the directors. We have to just wait and see what will happen with this kind of brands.
