After Intex launched its first Firefox
OS smartphone-CloudFX , Now Spice announced its firefox based smartphone – Fire
One Mi-FX1. Firefox had partnered with Intex
and Spice for launching affordable smartphones in India. the
Fire One Mi FX1, priced at Rs 2,299.
Spice has also partnered with
Aircel to offer 1 GB free monthly data for three months. This is a dual SIM
handset. Like CloudFX this Fire One also targetted at those who looking to upgrade from
feature phones without worrying about the price or complexity of a smartphone.
Some other features on the
Fire One Mi-FX1 include Wi-Fi, multiple language support (Hindi, Tamil, and
Bangla), FM radio, Bluetooth and 2G. Running Firefox OS, the Spice Fire One
Mi-FX1 comes preloaded with Marketplace, which is an app store in firefox OS.
This will be initially
available at Snapdeal, however it will later be made available via more
e-commerce websites. But, the smartphone is not yet listed on Snapdeal.
